Our wines

What can we say about our wines? We cannot say that they are better than others nor that they are like others. We can say that people like them.

Sasso Colombino

Sasso Colombino takes its name from the light grey stones that resemble the plumage of doves, abundant in our soil and forming its sturdy skeleton. Water scarcity enriches our grapes, producing wines of excellent concentration, where fragrances and aromas are magnified through careful and respectful winemaking.

Crafted from 85% Sangiovese and 15% Alicante Bouschet, Sasso Colombino embodies a perfect marriage of tradition and innovation. Sangiovese provides structure and elegance, while Alicante Bouschet adds depth and complexity to the blend.

After three months of bottle aging, Sasso Colombino reveals its full potential, offering a harmonious balance of flavors and textures on the palate. Pair it with succulent red meats, aged cheeses, or artisanal charcuterie for an unforgettable culinary experience. Savour every sip of Sasso Colombino and embark on a journey through the unique terroir of our vineyard.

Montecavallo

Montecavallo, a land of winemaking tradition handed down through the centuries according to the historical records of Siena, reveals a past steeped in viticulture. During the era of Sienese dominance over Saturnia, Montecavallo stood out for its dedication to winemaking. Here, amidst the sun-kissed hills of Tuscany, Sangiovese unveils its distinctive aromas and colors, enriched by the presence of Cabernet and Alicante Bouschet, which impart to Montecavallo an intense ruby hue, tending towards garnet. The unmistakable character of Cabernet harmoniously blends with Sangiovese, bestowing upon the wine spicy notes, red fruit flavors, and a pleasant complexity.

After six months of wood aging and further bottle rest, Montecavallo presents itself on the palate with unique complexity and depth. Its elegance pairs perfectly with succulent red meats, prized cheeses, and artisanal cured meats, offering an unforgettable culinary experience.

Each sip of Montecavallo is a sensory journey through the history and beauty of Montecavallo's vineyards.
